Therefore, the book has provided all levels of professional nurses with quick, easy-to-read and multiple choice solutions to each disease process. Each care plan also can be sent to insurance carriers for reimbursement by home health care agencies. The nurses can simply circle the appropriate items that apply to each individual patient.  As a former home health care nursing supervisor, the author successfully submitted the care plans to Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and many other insurors, and obtained reimbursement for the agency. Susan L. Scherman, author, of Community Health Nursing Care Plans, A Guide for Home Health Care Professionals, has been a New Jersey, USA, registered professional nurse, since 1974, in a host of disciplines, pediatric and adult intensive care units, hospital floor nursing, home health care nursing, quality assurance, nurse paralegal, certified school nursing and health education. She is also a patentee who holds a U.S. Patent for a medical device to train male toddlers with urination, the first of its kind in the world.  She has authored, filmed, and produced two historical documentaries in Hudson County, NJ at the NoHu International Short Film Festival, and won Union City Artist of the Year Award in 2013.

Is this book really 4,102.00? Sorry, but that seems like an awful lot to pay for a used book. I really want this book, but I'm not willing to pay that for it.

More Illustrations than Three Other Books.

The 'Visual' books are probably the most heavily illustrated books available on ny subject. This one, like the others has literally hundreds of color images the illustrate what they are tying to teach far batter than endless lines of text. This is particularly true of something like Photoshop which is basically a software packages that works with images. The images are a mix of color screen shots directly off of the computer's monitor and drawings specially made for this book that illustate some particular point.

This book is aimed at the beginner level. But by using it, a complete beginner could move up to fairly competent in a surprisingly short period of time. The experienced user might use this book as a way to rapidly, very rapidly, catch up on the most significant changes in version 4. This book won't make you a top of the line full bore guru, only a lot of time and practice will do that, but this book will get you started quickly, more quickly than most.

Very good for brushing up on imgage editing Photoshop style

I'm about half way through this book and like all of the other Teach Yourself Visually books this one is just as good. I did find several new things I had no idea Elements had in it such as tagging images to group similar photos and making my images easier to find on my computer. It may seem like a book for beginners but even the veteran users of Photoshop Elements will find some useful reminders for simple image editing that we take for granted by not trying to be fancier then we really need to be at times. For many actually seeing in color what is being explained makes doing the task much easier. This series of books do that very well even for new software such as Photoshop Elements 4.0.....

Better priced than the university bookstore.

This is a pretty generic book. It has reference values for various types of substances at different conditions and states. If you need it, you'll know. I had to buy it for a thermodynamics course, and the price on amazon was about $30 cheaper then the one my university bookstore offered. Highly recommended to get it from Amazon, I got it within a few days after I ordered, and I live in Canada.

Great reference manual. I have used this manual inside and out for my thermodynamics class. It has been a great time saver on our therm Exams. It does not have enthalpy formation tables for diatonic Hydrogen, but you can find those if you use refPROP or IT.
